Percy Williams, director of Radiology at Santa Cruz Medical Foundation, is one manager who has made special efforts to improve employee morale and job satisfaction to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction.
After a series of meetings and reviewing the results of the Experience of Work survey, he responded to his staff’s needs and worked with them to ensure that every employee understood how important their role was in the “big picture.” Now the group has a stronger sense of purpose and teamwork and all are committed to giving patients a positive experience when receiving X-rays, sonograms, mammograms, etc.
